It can feed a X1900XT without problems. I run an X800 XT PE on a Antec 430w, no problem. I do use a third party cooler as the stock cooler was worthless, temps over 80C in a well cooled case in a reasonably cool room 72 F. The Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer 5 brought them down to < 50 C during gaming.

WHAT same issue? The message you quoted from says the poster was using "the new Vista RC1", so it must have been from at least a year ago and at least a couple the install that rolling back to xp isn't available, nor can I boot xp :( My specs: AMD +4000 Asus A8N-E ATI Radeon x1900xt 1GB Corsaire SATA WD -- Froby.
